Dr. Rahul D. Thorat, working as a contributory faculty at Hastimalji Munot Co-operative Management Research Institute , Ahmednagar (M.S.). He has thirteen years teaching experience in the field of Commerce and Management. He has taught different subjects of Commerce and Management at UG and PG level. Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune awarded the Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the field of Commerce and Management.

He has authored several books of Commerce and Management. He has showed vigorous contribution in paper presentation and publication in International, National and State Level Conferences. He has delivered lectures on Soft Skills Development. He is member of syllabus restructuring committee of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. He has delivered lectures on Research Methodology and Marketing areas. He has worked as a Resource Person in Ph.D. Course Work of Savitribai Phule Pune University. He has actively participated in educational exhibition, NSS camp, industial visit,social activities tree plantation, Blood donation camp, etc.
